Description

A delicious recipe for turkey sliders, perfect for leftovers and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian Rolls (Substitution: Use gluten-free or keto buns for dietary needs.)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Soften to room temperature before spreading.)
  • 1 cup Whole Cranberry Sauce (Use fresh or canned; avoid jellied varieties.)
  • 2 cups Leftover Turkey (Substitution: Deli turkey slices can be used instead.)
  • 6 slices Havarti Cheese (Substitution: Use any similar melting cheese.)
  • 0 cups Salted Butter (If using unsalted, add ¼ teaspoon kosher salt.)
  • 0 tsp Garlic (Use pressed or minced garlic.)
  • 0 tsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 0 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • pinch Kosher Salt
  • 0 tbsp Poppy Seeds (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to ensure the sliders come out effortlessly.
  2. Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls lengthwise into top and bottom halves, keeping them attached.
  3. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on the bottom half of the rolls. Top with cranberry sauce, followed by turkey, and finish with havarti cheese before placing the top half back on.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, and kosher salt until well combined.
  5. Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the assembled sliders and sprinkle poppy seeds on top if you choose.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the filling is heated through and the cheese has melted nicely.
  7. For a crispy top, uncover the sliders during the last 10 minutes of baking until they’re golden brown.
  8. Once out of the oven, let the sliders rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, be sure to use gluten-free rolls.
  • If you don’t have left over turkey, deli turkey slices can be a great substitute.
  • Feel free to mix and match different melting cheeses according to your preference.
