Description

Light and airy popovers that are perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs (room temperature)
  • non-stick baking spray

Instructions

  1. Microwave the milk just until it’s lukewarm.
  2. Add the ingredients: milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and eggs to a blender and blend until smooth. Stop, scrape down the sides of the blender, and mix until everything is combined and smooth.
  3. Let the batter rest for about an hour at room temperature.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Generously spray the popover pan with baking spray and also preheat it.
  5. Fill each popover cup almost to the top with batter.
  6. Place the popover pan on a baking sheet and transfer to the oven.
  7. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 375°F and bake for another 17-20 minutes, or until the popovers are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm.
