Description

Deliciously fluffy cinnamon muffins, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter until blended. Gradually add to dry ingredients; stir gently until just combined.
  4. Fill muffin cups about two-thirds full with batter. Optionally sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar on top.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter topping, mix equal parts sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle on top of the muffins before baking.
