- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9-inch pie dish and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Add sugar, flour, salt, milk, cream, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
- Evenly spread the blackberries in the buttered dish. Gently pour the batter over the berries.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm or chilled.
