Description

Delicious Easter Cake Bars made with cake mix, loaded with white chocolate chips, pastel candies, and sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pastel chocolate candies
  • 1/3 cup Easter sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease any exposed sides.
  2. Add the yellow cake mix, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir until a thick cookie dough forms and no dry streaks remain.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips, pastel chocolate candies, and Easter sprinkles, saving a small handful of candies and sprinkles for the top.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan using lightly greased hands or a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved candies and sprinkles over the top and gently press them into the dough.
  7. Bake for 20 to 24 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center looks set.
  8. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and slicing into squares.
