This comforting slow cooker meal features tender chicken and fluffy dumplings in a rich creamy broth.

- 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup carrots (sliced)
- 1 cup celery (chopped)
- 1 cup onion (diced)
- 1 tsp salt
- 0 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (cut into pieces)
Instructions
- Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- Add vegetables, broth, soup, and seasonings.
- Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Shred chicken and return to crock pot.
- Add cream and butter, then dumplings.
- Cook on HIGH 45–60 minutes until dumplings are done.
Notes
- Ensure the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily for the best texture.
- You can substitute fresh vegetables if preferred.
