- 1 lb Chicken Thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium preferred)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
Instructions
- Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch and ensure they are well-covered.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan until hot, add chicken pieces, and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Add the crispy chicken back into the sauce, toss to coat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve the chicken over steamed rice or with stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
