Description
This Air Fryer Salmon is topped with a delicious mix of herbs, mayonnaise, and chopped pistachios for a delightful meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 spray olive oil cooking spray
- 5 filets salmon (about 5 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 4 leaves fresh mint (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (minced)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (about half a lemon)
- 3/4 cup pistachios (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400ºF and spray the basket with olive oil.
- Season the salmon with all-purpose seasoning.
- Combine mayonnaise with mint, dill, and lemon juice in a small bowl, then spoon a generous amount over each salmon filet. Top each filet with a heaping portion of chopped pistachios. I like to put the salmon in the air fryer before dressing it with the mayo mixture to save on cleanup and so I don’t have to worry about messing it up when trying to put it in the basket.
- Lightly spray the salmon with olive oil and air fry the filets for 6-8 minutes. If you’re using a larger piece of salmon, air fry it for additional time in 1 minute increments. Remember, air fryers cook things quickly!
- Using a small spatula, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and plate. Garnish with fresh dill if desired.
Notes
- This recipe works well with any type of fresh salmon.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon filets.
- Experiment with different herbs to customize your flavor.
