Description

Deliciously rich chocolate cookies made with dark chocolate and cocoa powder.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa), melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  3. Melt the dark chocolate and gradually incorporate into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft; cool on wire rack.
